Hi, I installed your firmware, but when the DVD starts up it displays
'check sum fail' and no longer reads the USB drive :-(
I managed to restore to the newest factory firmware (DVP3580_12.BIN version 33), but now I can no longer play files from from my 2.5" Hard drive ('invalid input'), only from USB drives???
Can anybody help me here?

Some issues i detected:
- DivX playback doesn't start in the beginning of the movie in some files.
- Checksum fail
- Some movies crash at the middle of playback and exit to the playlist or go to the next file. (Maybe a codec failure)

This firmware isn't working properly. When i reboot my DVD-player it says Checksum fail and it won't show divx-subtitles anymore, no mater what i do. I have DVP3580/12. greetings from croatia vb6rocod...it would be great if you could wrote some firmware for DVP 3580/58!!!some "intelligent" wrote on some slovenian forum that firmware for 3580/58 can be updated with 3580/12 firmware.IT CAN NOT be updated...I tested it myself and barely back to default(downloaded file for bulgarian because it is only in entire www but is just for 3580/58.so i would appreciate your help with this one...thanks

I have a DVD DVP3560/12 (2010)model
and as usually the divx subtittles are ugly.
There are bugs in the Portuguese subtitles. Accents appear in the #,$,% for ex. instead of á, ã,â and others.
But i think this is a main bug in all subtitle languagues.
Do you already made any Firmware for this model? I note the same model have different names in other countries as USA, Canada.
Philips already made an firmare update. See it on:
